The University of Aberdeen offers a flexible and individual approach to your studies. With just under 400 undergraduate degree programmes on offer, you can mix, match and switch subjects as you discover new interests and abilities on your way to graduating from a Top 20 UK University with over 525 years of teaching and research excellence.

We offer Advanced Entry into Years 2 or 3 of many of our degree programmes for those who have studied HNC and HND qualifications at College.

Online Courses/Degrees – these are flexible online options that offer a variety of options, on demand.

Postgraduate Taught Degrees – usually 12 months (or 24 if part-time) and some offered online. An opportunity to retrain or upskill.

Our part-time individual subject study options, for learners who are looking to take undergraduate courses at a slower pace, perhaps even one course at a time. In addition to our undergraduate degree programme subjects, we also offer two specialised part-time programme in Counselling Skills and Christian & Religious Studies.

We also offer a range of foreign language evening classes (for beginners through to advanced), including Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. We also offer evening English language classes for non-native speakers.

Support

The University’s Access & Articulation team offer support to all potential students from a widening access background or entering University at years 2 and 3 from College. The team support school pupils from S4 – S6 through our Access Aberdeen and Reach Programmes. In particular support is offered to pupils who find themselves in the following circumstances:

Estranged
Young Carers
