Parent Voice Matters – and we want to hear yours!

5 November 2025

Over the coming weeks, Laura and Christine from the ABZWorks team will be out and about across Aberdeen, meeting parents to learn more about the challenges faced when moving into work, education, or training. We’re eager to discover how we can work together to support our communities. You will also have the chance to find out about ABZWorks and the support currently available to parents and families.

Your ideas and experiences could help shape future ABZWorks projects, ensuring our services truly meet the needs of local families.

Join us for a cuppa and a chat! All refreshments will be provided free of charge.

We’ll be at these venues on the following dates:

  • Central Library: Thursday 27 November 2025

These events are open to parents, carers, and guardians of dependent children and are free to attend. These are not formal sessions, just genuine conversations about life as a parent in Aberdeen and what could make things a little easier.

If you can, please confirm your attendance via our Eventbrite page, as this helps us estimate numbers and how many cakes we need to prepare for the event. However, you are very welcome to drop in on the day even if you haven’t registered.
