We are seeking support from businesses to provide funded work experience placements.
Using No One Left Behind monies from Scottish Government, and United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Funds from UK Government, we have created a funded package to enable city residents to enter the workforce through paid work experience placements.
ABZWorks is looking for companies and businesses in a range of sectors to support our participants by providing paid/funded work placements for 12-weeks.
Key details:
• Placements can be up to 30 hours and be flexible in agreement with both business and participants.
• Paid at the Real Living Wage, with employers on-costs covered by a grant agreement, alongside the wage costs.
We will provide:
• One-to-one support throughout the placement for your business and participant.
• Opportunities for participants to undertake relevant training to support their development.
• Support for the participant with travel costs, work clothes, and getting started in a new job.
We are particularly interested in opportunities within the region’s growth and volume sectors, but the scheme is open to all employers within Aberdeen’s travel to work distance.
Eligible Aberdeen residents who are not in employment, education, or training can access the scheme.
